In introductory psychotherapy sessions, I am always drawn to the human reaction.
The anticipation and anxiety of hearing that he is unable to recover without medication.. the pain when analyzing the relationship between childhood and the present, the sadness when we see how the parental relationship model is subconsciously imitated in our relationships with our loved ones.
A person accepts the harm in the way of thinking and bears the responsibility of working towards change.
But he cries when we talk about feelings and the child lurking inside him.
